  • Group size and the presence of associated companies - how private equity investment can change a business's tax status, including the impact on payment dates and on tax reliefs and claims
  • Tax challenges arising from shareholder debt, including interest deductibility and withholding tax
  • Restrictions on carried-forward losses following a change in ownership
  • Other tax and practical considerations
