Effective Communication & Influence

ACCA China joins hands with KOS Solutions to launch Professional Influence Advancement Webinar Series. Centered on real‑world workplace scenarios, this series consists of three progressive sessions. It guides professionals to systematically enhance their overall influence and long-term competitiveness by strengthening professional branding, effective communication and sustainable relationship management.

Overview

Buildings

In high‑stakes scenarios including promotion evaluations, cross‑department collaboration, client engagements and critical presentations, stakeholders do not only focus on what you say. They also rapidly perceive your professionalism, credibility, confidence and willingness to collaborate.

In Session 2 of the ACCA x KOS Advanced Professional Influence online webinar series, you will learn that communication competence is far more than just being articulate. It directly shapes your influence within teams, the trust you build with clients, and your career‑growth trajectory.

  • How First Impressions Take Shape in Seconds

In business‑related interactions, people often form initial judgments about one’s professionalism, credibility, confidence and level of preparation within merely 7‑10 seconds. This session helps you understand the mechanics behind first impressions and how they drive subsequent communication outcomes.

  • Communication Influence Extends Beyond Verbal Words

Genuine communication consists of multiple layered signals, not just language itself. Apart from verbal content, others interpret your true message through your presence, tone, emotion, intention and interaction experience. This session enables you to spot those easily‑overlooked yet vital communication signals that continuously shape others’ perceptions and judgements.

  • Boost Communication Influence Through Observable Behaviours

This session introduces eight observable behaviours to strengthen your communication influence. It guides you through self‑reflection to recognise how these behaviours impact your professional image, credibility and overall communication performance, and identify one priority area for improvement
