Handling tough interview situations: promoting yourself honestly and making an emotionally intelligent impact

• Insight on handling concerns that you may be overqualified or too introverted for a role. Learn how to speak about yourself in ways that reduce interviewers’ worries and highlight your positive qualities.
• Advice on handling inappropriate questions that may be ageist, sexist, or racist. Learn to tackle such situations assertively but at the same time politely.
• An understanding of how to use emotions to influence interviewers’ judgements. Discover psychological methods for sustaining motivation over the long-term while seeking work. Also, learn how to demonstrate appropriate emotional maturity and warmth during interviews.
