SMP100 is a platform for members from small and medium practices (SMPs) to connect, exchange ideas, share experience and grow together. It is designed to be a community of SMPs that supports the professional development of each other to meet the evolving demands of their primary customers, the SMEs.

To kick off the HK SMP100, we have arranged a webinar and invited members working in SMP from Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia to share their experience on how they strive to survive under the impact brought by the pandemic.

Rosanna Choi, FCCA, Partner, CW CPA and Chair, ACCA Global Forum for SMEs

Rosanna Choi is a council member of Hong Kong Baptist University (“HKBU”) and the Honorary Treasurer of HKBU’s Council and Court. She was a director of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited from June 2012 to March 2018 and the Chairperson of its Audit Committee from 2014 to 2018. In addition, she is a board member of Social Ventures Hong Kong and a member of the Hong Kong Government’s Board of Inland Revenue.

Dato’ Lock Peng Kuan, Managing Partner, Baker Tilly Malaysia

Dato’ Lock is currently a Council Member of ACCA and a member of its Audit Committee. He is also the Chairman of the ACCA Global Forum for Audit and Assurance, the Past Vice President of ACCA Malaysia Advisory Committee, a Board Member of the Audit & Assurance Standards Board and a Member of the Capital Market Advisory Committee of MIA. He was a board member of the Industry Advisory Board at HELP College of Arts and Technology. He is currently a member of the Professional Standards Committee of Baker Tilly International and an interviewer for approval of Audit License in Malaysia.

Aaron Saw, FCCA, Head of Policy and Technical, ACCA Malaysia

Aaron Saw is a promoter of ACCA Professional Insights and he's exploring areas relevant to the accountancy profession; to develop and share cutting edge insights for the continued development of the profession.  His areas of interest include the development of SMPs, adoption of digital technology, improving audit quality, improving corporate reporting, business resilience and sustainability, and analysing business outlook and government policies impacting the accountancy profession.
