As Director of ACCA’s Policy and Insights, Claire leads a team of technical and policy experts producing insight on the most pressing issues impacting the business environment and responding to global and regional consultations across a broad range of topic areas.
The work of the Policy and Insights team helps drive the ACCA’s focus on the public interest and its output is available without charge to members and non-members.
After graduating from Clare College, University of Cambridge, Claire established her accountancy career at a Big 4 firm in London, before switching to regulation at the UK’s Financial Reporting Council (FRC). In her 19 years at the FRC, Claire took on a number of roles, culminating in establishing the Audit Market Supervision team in 2018 and leading the evolution of many aspects of the FRC’s supervision of the largest audit firms.
