I work in public practice, mainly on cloud accounting, accounts preparation, audits and taxation. I became involved with the panel to promote my professional qualification and provide insight into working in practice in West Wales. As an employer of 50 employees, many of whom have studied ACCA, I hope to continue growing that number whilst growing the practice. I learn from the panel not only knowledge of events, but of information on how the profession is progressing especially in technology and technical news and ensure that this information is passed on to my colleagues and can enrich the practice environment.

I work in the third sector for a Housing Association based in Swansea. I first got involved with the panel as I recognise the importance of continuous professional development and supporting students and members alike. As a panel member, it enables me to give something back to the qualification which has opened doors within my career. I have also learnt a lot from my fellow professionals / panel members and it’s good to exchange ideas and experience.
