ACCA gives accreditation to Kazakhstan's audit qualification  .

Country's national qualification programme Auditor RK gains recognition following independent review

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the global professional body for accountants had granted the Kazakhstan’s national qualification program Auditor RK a five-year accreditation following a thorough and independent review process.

This important recognition reflects the high standards and alignment of the qualification certificate Auditor RK programme with ACCA’s rigorous global benchmarks in professional education and qualification. It was granted through collaboration with the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Professional Council on Auditing Activity (PCAA).

The five-year accreditation confirms that graduates of the Auditor RK  programme will be granted exemptions from relevant ACCA qualification exams, enabling them to continue their professional journey towards an internationally recognised designation.

Zhanna Iskenova, Head of ACCA Central Asia, commented: ‘This is a significant step forward in harmonising national and international standards in the accountancy profession. We are proud to support the PCAA in developing strong, future-ready professionals who meet both local and global expectations.’

Sapar Koshkimbayev, Chairman of the Council, Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Kazakhstan (PAO), added: ‘This international accreditation is a proud achievement for Kazakhstan’s audit profession. It reflects our commitment to ensuring the Auditor RK programme meets the highest global standards. Partnering with ACCA allows us to offer Kazakhstani professionals wider recognition, stronger career pathways, and greater integration into the global financial community.’

This collaboration supports Kazakhstan’s broader efforts to strengthen the accounting and audit profession, enhance international mobility of local specialists, and build investor confidence through qualified financial professionals.
