HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has extended the deadline for submitting EU cross border VAT refunds to 31 March 2011 (previously the deadline was 30 September 2010). The six month extension is due to teething problems with the new electronic system.
Guidance on EU VAT refunds has also been produced by HMRC.
