ACCA alternative finance conference 2015

Our 3rd annual Alternative Finance Conference took place on 8 July 2015, at Barclays in Canary Wharf, London.

With the alternative finance market booming, this conference explored the consequences - particularly for SMEs - and considered the opportunities this new finance offers.

Introduction and welcome to the 3rd ACCA Alternative Finance Conference.

New research

We also launched an exciting piece of research with Nesta, the UK innovation charity, posing the question ‘is alternative finance better adapted to finance innovation, in particular intangible assets?’ The study: Innovation, Intangibles and integrated reporting: a pilot study of Malaysian SMEs is currently being piloted in the UK.

Gain CPD points

ACCA members can claim up to four CPD points for watching the conference presentations, provided that they can benefit professionally from the insights shared during the event. This includes members involved in raising finance for businesses or working in the growing FinTech industry.
