Identity verification: customer guidance
As you’ll be aware, the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act has introduced new requirements for company directors and people with significant control (PSCs) to verify their identity with Companies House.
Companies House recently published an article on LinkedIn which provides guidance on how to complete the process and top tips to help you stay compliant. This is a helpful resource for guiding customers through the new requirements and may be helpful to share with clients to support understanding.
