UAE Tax Fellowship

Who is it for?

The UAE Ministry of Economy, in collaboration with ACCA and the Emirates Association for Accountants and Auditors (EAAA) has designed this programme as a mandatory requirement for accredited auditors in the UAE.

For candidates not intending to qualify from the UAE Fellowship Programme but seeking an understanding of UAE legislation related to the accounting and auditing profession, the Certificate in Tax and Regulation (UAE) is available.

How it works

To successfully complete the programme, candidates must pass the following courses, which include an in-person examination, unless they are eligible to obtain an exemption certificate:

  • UAE Certificate in International Financial Reporting (part of the UAE Fellowship Programme)
  • UAE Certificate in International Auditing (part of the UAE Fellowship Programme)
  • UAE Tax and Regulation Certificate (part of the UAE Fellowship Programme)

Candidates who have not completed any of the three certificates may purchase them individually, or opt for a bundled purchase:

  • UAE Fellowship Programme (all courses)

Exemptions

Candidates whose existing membership of a professional body meets the exemption standards defined by the EAAA under the UAE Fellowship Programme may purchase exemption certificates for the UAE Certificate in International Financial Reporting and/or the UAE Certificate in International Auditing individually:

  • UAE International Auditing Credit Exemption (part of the UAE Fellowship Programme)
  • UAE International Financial Reporting Credit Exemption (part of the UAE Fellowship Programme)

Candidates eligible for both exemption certificates may choose to purchase the Certificates along with the UAE Tax and Regulation Certificate as a bundled learning pack:

  • UAE Fellowship Programme (with exemption credits)
