Welsh Budget to be finalised in February 2027

The draft will be published next month

The Welsh Government’s Draft Budget for 2027/28 will be published on 17 November 2026, and the Final Budget on 16 February 2027.

This will include updates on:

Welsh Rates of Income Tax (WRIT)
Land Transaction Tax (LTT)
Non-domestic Rates (Business Rates)
Landfill Disposal Tax (LDT)
Council Tax.

Welsh Finance Minister Elin Jones has confirmed that households in council tax bands A to D in Wales will also receive a £100 energy payment following the Chancellor's Budget announcement.
