It does this by providing the detailed scrutiny and due diligence to the proposed changes to ACCA’s rules, regulations and the code of ethics and conduct. It is also responsible for advising the Regulatory Board on the arrangements for ensuring that the standards remain fit for purpose and are effectively promulgated to the membership and other stakeholders.

The Chairman is appointed by the Regulatory Board and is drawn from its membership. However, the other members are separate to the Regulatory Board to enable the Board to take a more detached view of the work of the Standards Board.
