Managing your people

Connecting to and managing your people

Exchange Partners (Partner Services from April) will still be able to view and manage their connected people on the MyACCA portal. Approved Learning Partners (ALPs) will now need to connect to their people to do this, removing the need to upload spreadsheets.

Who is this important for?

This information is important for Approved Learning Partners, Silver Learning Partners and Exchange Partners (Partner Services from April).

You must be connected to your people on the MyACCA portal to access services such as ‘paying on behalf of’, data sharing and the Exam Results Service.

If you are an Exchange Partner (Partner Services from April), all your existing  people will automatically be connected to you in the new MyACCA portal. All other partners will need to check their connections in the new portal and add any new connections, as necessary.

The good news...

Connecting to your people will be easy. You’ll be able to invite your ACCA to connect with your organisation via the MyACCA portal. Once accepted, they agree to share their data with you.

You’ll be able to view and manage all connected people, including adding or removing their connections to your organisation. You can also place your people into a billing arrangement. When inviting a new person to register with ACCA, you’ll have the option to include discount codes where applicable.

And the even better news: You’ll be able to connect to your people individually or in bulk. The bulk functionality is new and will allow you to invite more of your people to connect in one go.

The 'Invite to connect’ feature will allow you to invite your people to connect who are already registered with ACCA.  If your people are not yet registered with ACCA, you’ll need to use the ‘Invite to register’ option.

So, what will your people see?

The great news up front: People will now be able to connect to multiple organisations.

For example, if your ACCA person is still studying at university, they would be connected to both your organisation and their university.

People will have access to an 'Organisation connections’ page where they can view their pending invitations and any active connections to organisations.

They can open their invitation to connect from you which will include information about any billing arrangements and registration codes (if applicable) and they can accept the terms and conditions.
