I joined ACCA because I wanted an internationally recognised qualification that would help me build a strong foundation and professional credibility.
Since then, it has given me opportunities beyond technical accounting, opening doors to leadership, strategy and business advisory work.
Just as importantly, the ACCA community has connected me with professionals and opportunities to contribute beyond my day job. Through that community, I’ve been able to mentor others, judge innovation challenges, volunteer and support the next generation of finance professionals.
Being connected with members locally and globally has also broadened my perspective and allowed me to learn from professionals across different sectors.
I still value my membership because it creates opportunities to give back. For me, that means sharing what I’ve learned, supporting others and contributing to the profession.
